Online seminar series

Updated: Sep 15

There are two online seminar series, based in Canada, that we find very useful for learning about scholarship related to translanguaging and plurilingualism. See the links and summaries below.

Summary: The Translanguaging & Trans-Semiotizing Research Group Channel aims at building a Community of Practice of both emergent and experienced scholars for academic exchange on Translanguaging and Trans-semiotizing research and pedagogies. It is hosted by Simon Fraser University, Faculty of Education, Canada.

Summary: Plurilingual Lab is a research laboratory located at McGill University's Department of Integrated Studies in Education (DISE), Canada. This channel serves as a Community of Practice to engage in conversations about language use and language learning among multilinguals.
